Today I just registered for my last year of school. The last year of many years. With my younger sister having graduated as a Civil engineer a few weeks ago, I have to admit I am slightly envious. I have learned alot this past year in school especially during my practicum, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy school especially now since it is directly related to what I want to do with my life, but, I am ready to get started on the next chapter of life.
I will talk more about my practicum experience as well as school another time.
In other news Daniel got a part-time job with the local online news site here in Kelowna. He is happily writing, reporting, photographing and updating almost every weekend. I am very excited he is back in a news room. Only drawback is the police scanner is on more often then before and it accompanies him everywhere! One day I will learn to love it right?
Oh can't forget one last tidbit-we moved. We have gone up a step in life from basement suite to a ground level suite. The place is surrounded by orchards and alot closer to the university. The landlords are sweet and quite friendly as well which is an added bonus. We are still trying to organize the place but on a related note, we have done well with our goal to downsize. We are having a garage sale this weekend at my parents to get rid of a bunch of our stuff. We'll see how it turns out.
That's all I can think of for now. Stay tuned. I know I have been really bad about updating this blog but I will get better.
